Media has once been my dream, but living is my priority now. No matter what one studies and learnes, how he actualizes in his real life is the most important. I have always been a dreamer, experiencing different spectrums of life. Now, I finally come to where I can be myself……

Massaging was once considered a horny business. Nowadays, it is getting popular, salons are everywhere in Hong Kong and most of the massage ladies are Chinese immigrants.

The salon I am familiar with has 25 female employees, 20 of whom were divorced. Some of them work as massage ladies after a divorce, some of them face failure because of the nature of the job which was not accepted by their husbands. Undeniably, the income from massaging is much better than any other kind of alternative jobs they have. Higher income and better living standards are what make it easier to cope with the failure in marriage.

Yet, they pay their price. They suffer a lot psychologically and physiologically due to the job nature.

One of the interviewees during the photographic sessions revealed the truth of their lives, “To make a living, we forget the pain!”
