1987 年生於香港，2010 年於香港理工大學獲應用及媒體藝術文學士學位，主修視覺傳意；2012 年獲香港大學專業進修學院攝影深造文憑。陳氏一直熱衷攝影創作，於2010年赴英國利茲加入 East Street Arts，並設立其個人藝術工作室。現為藝術行政人員，於香港推廣攝影文化。
日常生活是陳氏的主要興趣和攝影題材，喜愛透過攝影將自己與身邊的各種事物連上關係。陳氏深信「我怎樣生活，就怎樣拍照」。陳氏於連州國際攝影年展 2013 中舉行了攝影展《25 · 9：「就是說／Hey／係呀」》。
Doreen, Wing Yan Chan was born in 1987 in Hong Kong. Originally trained in Visual Communication, Chan received her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied and Media Arts from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2010. During the same period, while working as a graphic designer, she began experimenting with photography and making works. Her creative outlet brought her to Leeds, UK, where she joined East Street Arts and held an artist studio in 2010. In 2012, she studied her Postgraduate Diploma in Photography at the School of Professional and Continuing Education in the University of Hong Kong. She is currently an art administrator promoting photographic culture in Hong Kong.
Chan’s daily life is her main interest and inspiration of her photography. She draws from various subjects that relate the intricacies of her identity to the surrounding environment. She believes “How I photograph, is how I live!”. She was invited to hold her exhibition 25 ·9: “jiù shì shuo/Hey/hai6 aa1” at Lianzhou Foto Festival 2013.

很睏 睡著了
會醒來嗎？
沒有氣力掙扎
打開一些感官
關掉一些
在彩色裏找黑白。
一樣的 只有時間

我的頭髮曾經很長
所以睡的床一直要很大
起來的凍檸茶。
今午
我把被子弄平
還是 再弄亂
把耳朵割下
放在水裏。
誰也沒有資格改動

Those living in memories,
tired and fell asleep,
awakening?
Out of energy to fight,
exposing some senses,
shutting out some.
Discovering shades of
greys in colour.
Time, remains the same.
Work mindfully 11-8-2013
My hair used to be long,
and need a very large bed.
waking up to iced tea
This afternoon,
tidy the bed,
but messed up again.
Cut off ear,
and place in water.
No one can change the
words of the previous
moment.
The climate is not always
filled with air.
